THE TIMMERMANS METHOD AND THE NDIS
Want to join us, using your NDIS Plan? Just follow these steps below.
Here at The Timmermans Method, we’ve been working with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) since its inception, so we have the experience to help you every step of the way.
Below, we have listed the main steps in the process and we’re always ready to help answer your questions so you can put your NDIS Plan to work for the outcomes you want to achieve.
If you don’t have an NDIS Plan yet, the scheme has been designed to invest early in persons with disabilities and children with developmental delays to enhance their long-term results. We’ve added an introductory video here, to give you some more background.

NDIS – STEP 1
The first step is to simply register with us, using the buttons, below.
However, if you’d prefer to call us and talk things over first, you’re always welcome to chat with our Office Manager, Jayme, on 0411 696 839, between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. She’ll be happy to answer your questions.
And we also welcome email enquiries. If you’d prefer to use email instead of our forms, contact us via admin@timmermansmethod.com.au.
NDIS – STEP 2
The next step in our process is to arrange for you or your child to be assessed by one of our friendly therapists.
This is very important because it helps us work out which therapies you will benefit from the most.
If required, we can arrange a for this initial assessment to be face to face.
NDIS – STEP 3
The next step is to decide which Intensive Therapy program will best support you or your child.
This discussion will be based on you or your child’s specific needs and abilities, you or your child’s NDIS goals, and what outcomes you or your child want to achieve through your NDIS Plan.
We can advise on, and supply, equipment and technology you could benefit from, which we typically discuss during our sessions. However, some of our families have specific requirements up front, and we’re always happy to help.
NDIS – STEP 4
With those steps behind us, it’s now time to start the Intensive Therapy program that’s right for you or your child.
This starts with a service agreement, which we ask you to sign. The document is a written agreement between you (as an NDIS participant) and your NDIS service provider, which in this case will be The Timmermans Method.
It sets out how and when your supports will be delivered and is a standard part of your NDIS Plan.
NDIS – STEP 5
Payments for your Intensive Therapy under your NDIS Plan are invoiced at the end of the program and payment can be made using bank transfer.
