In addition to the professional qualifications of our staff (Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology), we also draw on our backgrounds and include techniques used in adult rehab, sports coaching techniques, strength and conditioning, the latest research and technology, The Timmermans Method gives your child the best opportunity to achieve their goals.
We treat your child like we would an elite athlete because their dreams are as physically and mentally demanding as the rigors of elite sport. Just like high-performance athletes, we expect everyone to work hard, we don’t accept defeat, we never give up, and we celebrate the extraordinary success that comes from hard work.

How We Do What We Do
The Timmermans Method Clinics provide intensive therapy for children with brain-injuries and developmental conditions. Our intensive model combines multiple approaches to get results faster than previously thought possible.
Children and their families receive highly tailored 1:1 support and services. From the beginning when booking an intensive and sourcing accommodation, through to follow up phone calls after the intensive, we are always there for you.
At the heart of what we do is parent education. Every child we treat requires ongoing therapy. We teach and train every parent to be world class therapy assistants. We will teach parents everything we possibly can to help them get maximum results for their children.

Funding
- Funding via NDIS is accepted by our clinic. We work with clients who are self-managed or plan managed.
- Our therapists are registered providers with Medicare Australia. Please speak to your GP for more information on plans and eligibility. We can provide you with a receipt for rebates.
- Our therapists are registered providers for private health care insurers.
